What We Treat

if your pet has one of the following clinical signs

Difficulty Breathing

Wheezing, blue gums, panting excessively, or choking sounds can be indicative of respiratory distress or blockages in the airway.

Trauma

This includes being hit by a car, a fall from a significant height, wounds from fights with other animals, or any other significant injuries.

Toxin Ingestion/Allergic Reaction

Consumption of poisonous substances, allergic reactions. Symptoms might include swelling (especially of the face), excessive itching, hives, or in severe cases, difficulty breathing.

Seizures

Whether it’s a single episode or a series of convulsions, it’s crucial to seek immediate care, especially if the pet has no history of seizures.

Vomiting/Diarrhea

Persistent vomiting or diarrhea, especially if it’s bloody or accompanied by other signs of distress. This can lead to dehydration and other complications.

Bloated or Distended Abdomen

Especially if accompanied by signs of discomfort, unproductive vomiting, or restlessness. This could indicate a life-threatening condition called Gastric Dilatation and Volvulus (GDV) or “bloat.”

Inability to Urinate or Defecate

Straining to urinate or defecate with minimal or no output, especially in male cats, can be a sign of a blockage which is a medical emergency.

Paralysis/Severe Lameness

If the pet is unable to move a limb or suddenly becomes paralyzed, especially in the hind limbs in dogs, it could be indicative of conditions like Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD).

Uncontrolled Bleeding

If a wound or injury is bleeding profusely and doesn’t stop despite applying pressure, or if there’s blood in urine, feces, or vomit.
