Chelsea is a Registered Veterinary Technician who was born and raised in Ottawa, Ontario. She graduated from the Algonquin College Veterinary Technician Program in the spring of 2021 and successfully completed the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE) later that year. Since graduating, Chelsea has gained valuable experience working in both general practice and emergency medicine.
She is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to both clients and their pets, with a particular interest in surgery and anesthesia. Chelsea enjoys taking on new challenges within the veterinary field and is especially passionate about burnout prevention and promoting excellent patient care. These values led her to join Ottawa Veterinary Urgent Care in January 2026.
Outside of work, Chelsea stays busy caring for her two very spoiled guinea pigs, Betty and Veronica. In her free time, she also enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to the gym, and crafting.
