Alex joined our team in February 2026, bringing nearly four years of hands-on experience in a fast-paced general practice environment. She graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at Algonquin College in the spring of 2022 and has built her career around compassionate, high-quality patient care.
Alex has a strong interest in animal behaviour and is especially passionate about Fear Free techniques. Having completed her Fear Free Level 3 certification, she focuses on creating calm, positive experiences for every patient who walks through the door. Her goal is always to help pets feel safe, comfortable, and supported during their visit.
Outside of the hospital, Alex enjoys getting lost in a good book, exploring new hobbies, and spending time with her high-energy Malinois/Dutch Shepherd mix, Millie, and her laid-back bearded dragon, Elliot.
