Danielle Dobos is a dedicated Veterinary Assistant who joined the Galaxy Vets team in January 2026. She began her veterinary medicine career in 2021 at a small private practice in Toronto before relocating to Ottawa, where she spent four years working in a fast-paced emergency hospital.
Danielle plays a key role in maintaining efficient hospital flow and a high standard of cleanliness, while confidently supporting critical cases and leading sedated procedures. Her hands-on experience includes nutrition consultations, blood collection, IV catheter placement, and inventory management. She is known for her strong organizational skills and her calm, reliable presence in high-pressure environments.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Technology in Graphic Communications Management from Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University), bringing a unique blend of technical, organizational, and creative skills to her role.
Outside of work, Danielle shares her home with two spirited cats, Chickadee and Ducky, and a crested gecko named Bean—who occasionally makes special appearances at the clinic. In her free time, she enjoys snowboarding, reading, and spending time with friends.
